On Thursday, October 2016, The Moses Kotane Institute (MKI) held a media briefing about the STEMFest Conference and I am an Engineer competition at Elangeni Hotel. The event was hosted by Nothando “Mumgo” Zungu and panellists included Mr Scott Campbell, Spring Light Gas CEO; Mr Nkosinathi Solomon, MKI Board Chairperson; Mr Sakhile Ngcobo and MKI CEO; Mr Sibusiso Mpungose. They all gave a valuable insight on how the shortage of critical skills in South Africa can be solved.
SLG donated in the region of R330 000 worth of science equipment to the competition.
