ECR Toy Story in partnership with Game Stores, distributes new toys to paediatric wards in state-owned facilities across the province during November and December. SLG has in the past donated funds for food parcels which has benefited various underprivileged family’s during the festive season. Game has now implemented an initiative called the AmaLunchbox campaign, which aims to curb the detrimental effects of hunger on the educational development of children, by providing disadvantaged schools nationwide with mobile kitchens. The kitchen facilities, allow schools to prepare daily healthy meals for their students in hygienic conditions. SLG donated R50 000 towards the mobile kitchen facilities as well as R2 000.00 towards the purchase of new toys to the children of KZN
